Privacy

Aelia Vintage ("we") sells one-off vintage clothing at aeliavintage.com from Melbourne, Australia. This policy says what we collect, why, and your choices. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect. Your name, email address, shipping address and phone number when you order or create an account; your order history; messages you send us; and, if you sign up for drop alerts, your email address and the date you agreed. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or keep your card number.

Why. To sign you in, take and deliver your order, send receipts and shipping updates, answer your messages, and (only if you asked) tell you about new drops.

Email. Order and sign-in emails are part of using the shop. Drop alerts are sent only to people who signed up, and every one has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. We don't buy, rent or share email lists. We keep a record of the emails we send and whether they arrived, so we can help if one goes missing; we don't track when you open them.

Who we share it with. Only the services that run the shop for us: Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services in Sydney (sending email), Fastmail (our mailbox), and the carrier that delivers your parcel, such as Australia Post (delivery). We never sell your information.

Keeping it. We keep order records for seven years, to meet Australian tax and accounting record-keeping rules. You can ask us to delete everything else at any time.

Your choices. You can see, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe, by emailing hello@aeliavintage.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
